Well the planets have finally aligned … Fort Zumwalt and Wentzville have decided to offer the same Spring Break this year! So we believe this is a great chance for our students to get involved in cross-cultural missions.

We are teaming up with Focus on Missions (www.focusonmissions.com) again and heading to Matamoros, Mexico on March 21st – 28th. The cost, at only $350, is a steal for getting missions experience in another country. This cost will cover everything (except the meals going down and coming back), including: transportation for all 7 days, hotel rooms, all meals in Mexico, supplies, and t-shirts. All participants will need a U.S. passport to cross the border, and are encouraged to apply for one ASAP if they do not already have one.

This trip is for all students currently in 8th grade and above (6th-7th graders may attend if a parent/guardian accompanies them) , and all adults wishing to serve alongside the student ministry staff and experience missions first hand. We will be active in the community/schools teaching them basic English and getting one on one interaction with the people. At the end of this we will have a community wide event in which we offer food, have a blast with games, and share the gospel using the local pastors Focus on Missions teams up with. This will be the main priority while we are there, but we are also trying to line up possible small construction projects, a visit to the children’s home, an outreach to help the people who live in the city dump, and much more.
