Wow! What a whirlwind during the last few weeks. Juggling money between two bank accounts, separated from family, packing – trying to determine what needs to be in storage and what you need now, traveling hundreds of miles and transitioning to a new community. These are just some of the things that add to life’s stress – but I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because I know God is in the midst of it all, and He has placed me and my family in an incredible church and community.
Thank you FBC for your hospitality, love, kindness, prayers and support during out transition. We are finally here together as a family and loving very much our new church family and community.
As we begin this journey together, I am so excited about the activity of God that I see around us and the great privilege we haver to join Him in His work. I truly believe FBC is on the threshold of something awesome, and I am so excited about experiencing that with you. I love Isaiah’s words from Isaiah 40 and how they speak to what is possible with God:
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint (40:28-31).
