Global Missions
In John 20:21, Jesus says, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” We believe we are to live our lives as ones sent into the world – “Living Sent!”
We believe every Christian is commanded (Matthew 28:18-20) to participate in sharing the gospel with all people.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:19-20
An integral part of our church’s vision is sending out many of our members as missionaries and church workers throughout the world, serving in long-term and short-term mission service, connecting people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus also gives us “where” we are to be His witnesses:
” … and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
–Acts 1:8
Some of our mission fields include:
-
Jerusalem – O’Fallon & St. Charles County
-
Judea – Missouri
-
Samaria – United States & Canada (North American Mission Board)
-
Ends of the Earth - Everywhere Else! (International Mission Board)
As with any ministry, it takes financial contributions to operate! Please consider helping to support our Faith Promise Missions Budget. Just check the “Missions” blank on the offering envelope found in the pews, add your offering, and drop envelope in the offering plate or the boxes near the back of the auditorium.
