Wise stewardship of God’s resources is a core value of First Baptist Church. “We believe God blesses faithful stewardship and giving of tithes and offerings to Him.” This belief is based on many scriptures, but the most prominent would be Malachi 3:10

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house.
‘Test me in this’, says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven
and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

Stewardship Education
Crown’s Biblical Financial Study is a primary way at First Baptist that we seek to teach people God’s financial principles. Our desire is that each participant will grow in their obedience to Him as their relationship with Him deepens. The study encourages the development of a workable spending plan, as well as other aspects of truly “getting one’s house in order.” Please let us know if you have an interest in participating in a future Crown small group study.

Stewardship Opportunities
Tithes. At First Baptist Church, we encourage everyone to follow the biblical principle of tithing regularly and consistently. (2 Corinthians 8:1-5) For the believer, it becomes an act of worship to joyfully give to God. These tithes are used in the ongoing ministry here at First Baptist Church of O’Fallon.

Global Missions. We have embarked on an aggressive plan to fund mission projects locally and around the world. Every dollar given will be used to impact our world with the gospel of Christ.
