Interim Pastor

Our Interim Pastor is Dr. Tom Hufty. Tom has been inspiring and motivating people of all ages for over 30 years. The Biblical truths he shares, balanced with humor, effectively communicates his passion to see people become all God wants them to be. Tom travels extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally speaking to students, families, business executives and church leaders with a message of hope and inspiration. He challenges his audiences to live their lives with purpose, making Jesus look good everyday.

Tom is the Vice President for Collegiate Affairs and Assistant to the President at Hannibal-LaGrange College in Hannibal, Missouri. Before moving to HLG more than 10 years ago, Dr. Hufty served as Associate Pastor for Student and Family Ministries at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri for over 13 years.

Tom and wife Rhonda have been married for more than 27 years. They have one son, Zachary (25) married to Nicole; and one daughter, Mackenzie (21).

Tom is the author of a daily devotional book entitled Time Alone With God.
