Wheels of Hope is on a Different Track

There are a lot of honorable vehicle donation programs out there, but Wheels of Hope is different in an exciting way! Most charities sell the vehicles they receive and then use the funds to further their mission.

Not Wheels of Hope.  Whenever possible, we put the vehicles directly into the hands of truly needy and deserving people.  For us, giving these people a means of transportation IS the mission.

Of course not every vehicle is economically repairable so we sell those we can’t fix and use the money to pay for repairs on other cars.  So we gladly accept all vehicles donated to us, even junkers.

Two Simple Rules of the Road

We’ve got two priorities we hold dear.  First, we place a priority on single parents, widows, widowers, and those who are plugged into our church.  Since we can’t provide cars for everyone, we begin with these precious people.

Our second priority is to protect people’s dignity as we help them.  So rather than just give them the cars, we give them the opportunity to buy them at a significantly reduced price.  It’s a measure of respect that they appreciate and we believe in.

What Should I Do Now?

If you have a vehicle that you would like to donate, please contact the Wheels of Hope Ministry at this church.  We’ll send you a packet with a few simple forms.  It is very important to know that your donation is tax deductible and free towing is available if needed.
