Our Beliefs
God is honored as we use our gifts.
We believe excellence in the use of each member’s spiritual gifts allows the church to work at its full potential.
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” - 1 Peter 4:10
God is honored as we apply His Word in our lives.
We believe the Bible is relevant in all matters of life and each member is responsible to know and use God’s Word as the standard for all decisions.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
God is honored as we fulfill the Great Commission
We believe each member is commanded to participate in sharing the gospel with all people.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
God is honored as we submit to the Lordship of Christ.
We believe in God’s supreme authority and control over every area of our lives.
“For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.” - Romans 14:9
God is honored as we pray.
We believe that God hears and answers His children when we communicate with Him through prayer.
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” - Jeremiah 33:3
God is honored as we give.
We believe God blesses faithful stewardship and giving of tithes and offerings to Him.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house. ‘Test me in this’, says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” - Malachi 3:10
God is honored as we mature spiritually.
We believe the Christian life is a growth process where Bible study, worship, prayer, evangelism, fellowship, and ministry produces increasing obedience and deepening faith.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 3:18
